Whitetail deer are the #1 big game animal in North America and for good reason!
With a massive range and liberal hunting seasons, it’s a fairly easy animal for hunters to access and have a good chance of success with.
Having said that, if you’re new to the deer woods how do you know where to go and what to do?
As with all New Outdoors seminars and camps, the goal is to provide entry level information to give new hunters the tools and knowledge to explore with confidence and safety in mind.
In these one day deer seminars, we’ll cover such topics as:
Deer habitat, biology and behaviour, common hunting techniques including stalking, baiting, stands and calling, necessary gear and equipment, safe firearm handling, common regulations and reinforce ethical hunting practises. The seminar includes a walking tour of a hunting property to physically show how and where the above topics can be implemented.
The seminar occurs from 9am to 5pm and includes a bbq lunch.
